Now you can use any upcoming SDR Protector or Pistol / Protector Course to demonstrate proficiency for getting your LTC!
The Texas DPS requires every student to complete 4 hours of online training to be issued their LTC-101 certificate upon completion.
By completing the online portion prior to your Protector/Pistol course, you’ll save a $100 on your live training.
Your Protector 1 or Pistol 1 course will count towards your proficiency demonstration (shooting qualification and range instruction with an LTC instructor); getting you closer to obtaining your LTC permit.

Anyone can take the online LTC class. The material covered applies to anyone interested in firearms and goes over firearm safety, Texas law, federal law, de-escalation techniques, methods of carry and more.
