Introducing the Sheepdog Response Tactical Individual First Aid Kit (TIFAK). Sheepdog Response has joined forces with Safeguard Medical and Combat Medical to create the Sheepdog Response Tactical IFAK. This ultra-compact IFAK includes all the same gear you find in much bulkier IFAKs but packed into an easy access kit that fits neatly into any space.
The Tactical IFAK was designed for the gun belt, but it can be mounted to backpacks, strollers, or vehicles. This lifesaving IFAK contains nothing but the most cutting edge first aid gear. The inner kit deploys quickly in either direction from the neoprene outer sleeve that can be affixed to most anything.
The entire lifesaving kit weighs just 16oz.
Included in the IFAK:
1x Combat Medical Battle Bandage (pressure dressing)
1x Combat Medical Battle Wrap (pressure wrap)
1x Pre-lubricated Nasal Airway
1x Celox Rapid B-Con (Hemostatic dressing)
1x Pair non-allergenic gloves
1x Klever Kutter (seatbelt/clothing cutter)
2x Sentinel Chest Seals
1x Emergency blanket (extra-large)
1X MARCH quick start instructional guide
I attached it to my go bag so I always have a personal medkit handy. Great way to not die
The contents of the pack are amazing and I stand by the product. However the pack and the sleeve make this a bear to get out and use. Trying to put it back in, is dang near impossible.
The contents of this kit are well-selected and are top-notch! But the carrier is terrible. It's difficult to pull the pack out of the sheath (which remains attached to your belt), and VERY difficult to slide the pack back inside the carrier-sheath. I find myself never wanting to open up this kit, which is a terrible mindset to have. Regular raining and familiarity with you kit is really important, but I have no desire with this setup.
Overpriced for what you get
The contents are fine, the issue is the bag it all comes in barely fits the outer case it slides into. Also when its fully loaded the snaps constantly come unbuttoned.
Other than those two issues it's a decent ifak
Attaches perfectly to my ruck, makes me feel prepared and much more able to serve my community.
