[NEW] SPECIALTY
We owe it to our law enforcement officers to provide the very best training. They protect us and we want to make sure they have the tools to survive and succeed while they perform their duties.
The LEO course was designed specifically to give law enforcement and public servants the extra edge they need to be successful on the streets and highways. The course provides advanced marksmanship skills and drills for those that already have a basic knowledge of weapons handling. It provides transition training between carbine and pistol weapon systems for those that require multiple tools for their trade.
The LEO course provides the best training in unarmed combatives with an emphasis on what law enforcement officers need to know to be able to responsibly and effectively control detainees and defend themselves and others from attackers.
The LEO course is open to police officers, sheriffs, constables, state troopers, corrections officers, deputies, or anyone in public service with a duty to carry.

About the LEO Course
Learn from some of the best instructors in the world, with decades of experience in shooting and fighting.
You will spend the first day learning the rapid and effective employment of the carbine rifle system. The next two days will be split between the mats and the range, learning defensive tactics, weapons retention, and firearms handling and transitioning from one weapon system to another.
What You’ll Learn
DAY 1
Classroom: Situational awareness strategies that will help you prevent, avoid, or respond to threats to yourself and those around you. The quicker you can anticipate an attack the better your chances are for success. You will learn how to spot threats quicker, and maintain a state of awareness, assessment, action, or analysis at all times.
Range: We will cover the education of ancillary equipment selection and set up for carbine operations to include loading, firing, reducing malfunctions and clearing procedures of a carbine as they are critical elements of this instruction. Practice marksmanship and zeroing techniques and procedures. Shoot, move, utilize cover all with physical and mental stress applications.
DAY 2
Gym: You will learn a combination of handpicked defensive tactics and fighting
strategies from around the world. Our techniques were developed by our instructors based on real-world experiences in fighting both overseas and in the highest levels of the UFC.
Range: Do you have the skills and mindset necessary to defend yourself and others with a pistol? We will teach you our preferred shooting methods, and explain why we do things the way we do. You will learn to rapidly draw, shoot, and reload your gun
DAY 3
Gym: We increase the pressure by adding weapons and arming you with self-defense tactics that will give you a quick and decisive edge when close to the threat, and teach you to retain your weapons and defend against theirs.
Range: A gunfight is never a static environment, and now that you have learned the fundamentals we will have you shooting, moving, and utilizing cover along with nonstandard shooting positions.
Don’t own a firearm? Shooting packages are available that include: firearm, holster, magazines, and magazine holders. Supplies are limited so reserve yours early by emailing info@sheepdogresponse.com.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email info@sheepdogresponse.com and we will get right back to you. See you soon!
