I found this interesting and useful. I'm 40 years removed from my military service so the acronyms are things that I didn't have to work with. Many of the concepts themselves remain the same. I would think most current/recent service members would find this less interesting just because it would be something they already know.
I do wish there was a .pdf that contained a chapter by chapter outline along with all the acronyms. It would be helpful to review so that I didn't need to make my own notes and go over the video chapters repeatedly. I will do that but having something I could print off would be helpful.

I'm a veteran and as the years passed I lost many of these skills because I no longer practised or applied them. Now I'm disabled and use forearm crutches in both arms and feel that despite my 6'5" 270 lbs frame I'm the weakest one usually in a crowd. I've taken concealed carry courses and carry due to both my handicaps and the state of violence in this country. This course has helped awaken me to situational awareness again, thank you. Also I'm looking for courses geared for the handicapped.

Excellent video presentations with great visuals. Great explanations of concepts. The multiple acronyms can be a tad overwhelming for those "not in the know". References to situations overseas or foreign countries might be better in a separate (or second step class on sit. awareness) course. Maybe more examples of common cues by criminals/perps. Overall still very informative.

I learned a lot of this stuff in my 24 years in the Air Force as I was ALL over this world and in some Not so Friendly places!!! This taught me much more. I got my CCP just under a year ago and I Always carry. Some of your stuff were refreshers from the AF. I can definitely use all the training, especially when I'm out and about. Thanks!

I've taken Situational Awareness courses before. This was unique due to the Special Operator perspective. It provided a greater overview as a background to develop a baseline, and on not attracting attention. While I won't be traveling internationally, it does help with focusing on what is really important regionally and locally to avoid cognitive overload.
Even the information I have learned before was presented well, with a few details that made it a bit clearer. The tips and acronyms are a big help.
I so appreciate Sheepdog Response partnering with the USCCA in offering this course. I hope there will be more to come. I want to learn and train as much as possible to protect myself, my family, my Church and my community. Thank you.

Given the price, this was a total waste! If you want to learn about situational awareness, you would do a lot better reading the experts: Gavin de Becker, Tim Larkin, Patrick Van Horne, Joe Navarro, Gav Schneider, Jonathan Gilliam and several others. But these videos failed to even mention 99% of what those guys teach about situational awareness and offered nothing but elementary generalizations that any elementary school kid already knows.

I loved the virtual training. Very informative. Some people may think being aware of your surroundings is common sense, but it's not what you do but how you do it is what matters the most. I've learned through watching the video that their's more to it than just looking around.

Too much theoretical discussion with acronyms. As a USCCA member, I am interested in personal defense scenarios and "how to" illustrations. I think this video presentation was professionally produced but sorely lacking in specific examples of how to handle situational awareness in the real world. It seemed to me like a lecture given to government recruits or a corporate gathering.
